Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about checking utility bills online in Pakistan.

💬General

Yes, BillCheck is completely free. There are no hidden charges, subscriptions, or registration requirements. Simply enter your reference number and view your bill instantly.

No. We do not store your reference numbers, personal information, or bill details. Each lookup is processed in real-time and discarded immediately after displaying results.

Your reference number is a 14-digit code printed on your utility bill, usually at the top-right corner. It is different from your consumer/account number. If you lost your bill, check previous bills or your bank payment receipt.

Yes. After checking your bill, you can view the full duplicate bill details including amount due, due date, and consumption. Use the print button to save as PDF for payment at banks or online banking apps.

Electricity

We support all 10 DISCOs in Pakistan: LESCO, GEPCO, FESCO, IESCO, MEPCO, PESCO, HESCO, SEPCO, QESCO, and TESCO. Select your provider and enter your 14-digit reference number.

Minor differences can occur due to timing — bills update when the DISCO processes new billing cycles. Always verify the due date and amount on the official PITC portal before making payment.

Fuel Price Adjustment (FPA) reflects changes in the cost of fuel used for power generation. When global fuel prices rise, FPA increases your bill even if usage stays the same. See our FPA guide for a detailed breakdown.

TV fee is a fixed Rs. 35 monthly charge on all domestic electricity connections. It funds Pakistan Television (PTV) and appears on every bill regardless of consumption. See our glossary for more details.

Currently, our tool shows the latest billing cycle. For historical bills, visit the official PITC portal (bill.pitc.com.pk) or contact your local DISCO office with your consumer number.

🔥Gas

Select SNGPL from the gas tab, enter your 14-digit consumer/reference number, and click Check Bill. SNGPL bills may redirect to the official portal due to captcha requirements on their website.

SSGC requires direct verification on their official portal (viewbill.ssgc.com.pk). We redirect you there to ensure you get authentic bill data with proper security verification.

Gas bills in Pakistan use MMBTU (Million British Thermal Units) or cubic meters depending on the billing period. SNGPL and SSGC bills show consumption in both formats.

💧Water

Yes. Select WASA Lahore from the water tab and enter your consumer number. You can view your current bill amount, due date, and arrears status instantly.

WASA and KWSC bills can be paid at designated bank branches (HBL, UBL, MCB), through mobile banking apps (JazzCash, Easypaisa), or at WASA/KWSC customer service centers.

🧮Tools

Our calculator uses NEPRA-approved residential tariff slabs for estimation. Actual bills may differ due to FPA, taxes, and surcharges that vary monthly. Use it as a guide, not an exact prediction.

Peak hours vary by DISCO but typically run from 6 PM to 10 PM (18:00–22:00) when electricity demand is highest. Using heavy appliances during off-peak hours can significantly reduce your bill under TOU tariffs.
